IIM CAT 2022: Common Admission Test will be held today; Know the dress code, do’s and don’ts
IIM CAT 2022 Common Admission Test is to be conducted by IIM today i.e. on Sunday 27 November at the examination centers set up across the country. Necessary examination instructions have been issued for the candidates going to appear, whose compliance will be mandatory for all.
IIM CAT 2022: Important update for lakhs of aspirants going to appear in the CAT exam this Sunday. The Common Admission Test is to be conducted today i.e. Sunday, November 27, 2022, to select eligible candidates for admission next year in various management courses to be conducted in Indian Institutes of Management. Admit cards have already been issued to the candidates who have applied for appearing in this examination. Candidates who have not yet downloaded their admit card can download their admit card by logging into the exam portal, his cat.ac.in. Candidates will be required to follow the instructions given in the admit card as well as in the exam notification, some of which are as follows:-
- It will be mandatory for the candidates going to appear in the CAT 2022 exam to wear masks. Keeping in mind the winter, sweaters or cardigans without pockets, plain pullovers, socks, etc. are allowed to wear.
- However, candidates should not use footwear and shoes with thick soles. It is permissible to wear sandals or shoes without heels.
- Do not carry any electronic items, Bluetooth devices, etc. with you.
- Do not carry items like goggles, purses, handbags, belts, caps, etc. to the examination center.
- Digital watches or smart watches, wristwatches, bracelets, cameras, jewelry, metal articles, etc. are also prohibited.
- Do not wear any jewelry (or any item containing metal), shoes/boots with thick soles, and clothes with big buttons inside the testing laboratory.
- Explain that CAT 2022 exam will be conducted in three shifts of 2-2 hours each. Which will start at 8.30 am, 10.30 am, and 2.30 pm. There will be three sections in the CAT question paper. These sections are – Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
